On the water by 4.30 with 8.5 on the carve which was just enough.Beat along coast to the pier with great reach back to join Rob who was kiting in the river mouth and having a great time!!! it's the first time I've sailed with Rob.Another kiter was sitting on an island in the middle of the river looking very unhappy,with good reason as he had just lost his new kite and bar and it was being washed up on Bawdsey beach about a mile downwind.I sailed back to the dip to get the longboard to get the kite but by the time I got back the harbour master had come to his rescue!!! So I repeated the trip to the pier again on the long board. A really good 2hrs 30mins sailing in the evening sunshine and Rob had his best ever kite at Felixstowe.
